It’s a special joy to celebrate the first anniversaries of the couples I’ve designed for over the past year. I love being able to look back at the photos with fresh eyes - you see new details, expressions and colors. I wonder if the couple feels that way too following their first year of marriage?. Kearney and Brent were married on the rooftop of 101 Constitution followed by dinner downstairs at Charlie Palmer. Flowers in burgundy, lavender and plum provided a vibrant contrast to the stone white backdrop of the U.S. Capitol and Washington Monument. Although I blogged about the wedding back in September (read it here), I wanted to post a few more pictures and congratulate Kearney and Brent on their first anniversary together.
