Congratulations National Museum of Women in the Arts on the celebration of your Spring 2023 Gala!
Held at the Embassy of Italy, under the gracious patronage of Her Excellency Mariangela Zappia, the ambassador of Italy to the United States, and gala co-chairs Anita McBride and Patti White, a warm and festive evening full of DC’s glitterati and philanthropist was enjoyed by those lucky enough to attend.

Chair of the Board, Winton S. Holladay announced “In October 2023 we will reopen our doors after a two-year renovation. We truly look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful new spaces to see our reinstalled collection and reopening exhibition, The Sky’s the Limit.”
It is rare that I have an opportunity to be a guest and I am extremely grateful to my friend and mentor Anne Edwards and her family for inviting me along.

Everyone raved about the cusine and menu cards provided by Susan Gage! So clever, my favorite dish was the antipasto, and Anee declared the Halibut was some of the best she had her had.

The energy brought to the evening by honoree Cecilia Alemani was infectious.
@ceciliaalemani is the first Italian woman to serve as artistic director of La Biennale di Venezia (Milk of Dreams, 2022) and is chief curator of High Line Art in NY.
In keeping with a vision for sustainability Design Foundry created wonderful cloche centerpieces filled with faux blooms.

Tony Powell was looking dapper and energetic as he and his team seamlessly captured all the key moments and power players.

I was honored to provide petite and flirty cocktail bouquets in shades of purple and ivory.
A highlight of my evening was seeing Winton Holladay up on stage, earrings sparkling looking exactly the same as she did 25 years ago when she was a parent at @holtonarms . Major assembly flashback moment!
